Using this application, you can create and modify password-protected directories that are accessible online.

To create a new password-protected directory, enter a URL, e.g., http://mydomain/members/. Finally, enter the username and password used to protect this URL from online access.

If you would like to add multiple usernames and passwords to a URL, first create a new password-protected directory. After you create it, it will appear in the list below. You can then click the "Manager Users" link to add more users.

NOTE: Due to the way UNIX-type systems encrypt passwords, a password greater than 8 characters in length is unnecessary.

WARNING: If you already have an .htaccess file in the directory you wish to protect, it will be overwritten.
