The following is an overview of how the GoldMine contact
update service works.
1. Screenshot of customer information in GoldMine database.

2. Using a GoldMine HTML email template you can send
an email to the GoldMine contact with their contact
information merged from the GoldMine database.

3. Included in the HTML email is a link to update/change
their contact information. This will take them to a
form on your website where their contact information
from GoldMine is automatically entered into the form
fields. You can even have fields setup to collect additional
information. (Requires PHP, ASP, etc)

4. Once the customer has submitted their updated contact
information they will see the updated information that
they submitted.

5. The submitted updated contact information will be
submitted to you via a GoldMine
Webimport email, linking the email to their contact
record. You can choose to update information automatically
or as we prefer simply compare the incoming email to
the record and update information as needed.
