 There is a lot of mystery and misunderstanding surrounding GoldMine Record Typing.  Record Typing enables you to design custom screen views which dynamically change as you change the classification of the record.  For example, a “Prospect” can look different than a “Vendor” and so on.

Record Typing can assist with workflow and will make your users’ experience more intuitive, which results in improved data capture and ultimately leads to better reporting and marketing.

In this webinar I will clear up confusion and help you to appreciate the applications and benefits of this useful database design feature.

Prerequisite:  Active GoldMine User.  We will be showing this feature on a GoldMine Premium Edition System.  However, Record Typing is also featured in the GoldMine Corporate Edition.

NOTE:  The GoldMine Record Typing can only be set up by a GoldMine User with “Master Rights.”  It is typically implemented by either your GoldMine Administrator and/or Solutions Partner.  Nonetheless, an understanding and appreciation for the features and value of Record Typing is beneficial for others in the organization that may have a reason and interest in applying it.  In addition, we will not have sufficient time in this webinar to fully cover all the technical details, so further study or support may be necessary to actually deploy Record Typing.
