Question: How long will FrontRange Solutions support GoldMine Solutions 5.x, 6.0 and 6.5?


Answer:
FrontRange Solutions will continue to provide support for these product lines until October 31st, 2007.

Question: Is this communication for GoldMine Standard Edition 5.x, 6.0 and 6.5 and GoldMine Corporate Edition 5.x, 6.0 and 6.5 product lines.


Answer:
Yes, this communication is for both the GoldMine Standard Edition and GoldMine Corporate Edition product lines.

Answer:
GoldMine Corporate Edition 5.x, 6.0 & 6.5 clients currently on maintenance are able to upgrade to the latest version GoldMine Corporate Edition 7.0.4 at no additional cost. To recognize this GoldMine Corporate Edition 5.x, 6.0 & 6.5 customers who are current on maintenance, we are offering a one time only promotion for these customers to upgrade to GoldMine Premium Edition. */**

Promotion Details: Existing GoldMine Corporate Edition 5.x, 6.0 & 6.5 customers currently on maintenance may upgrade to GoldMine Premium Edition for $325 USD per user. This promotion is available through October 31st, 2007.

And, GMCE 5.x, 6.0 & 6.5 customers not currently on maintenance are able to get maintenance reinstated, and upgrade for this special promotion pricing stated above. Question: What does the 'x' in GoldMine Solutions 5.x mean?


Answer:
The 'x' refers to all product release points in the GoldMine Standard Edition or GoldMine Corporate Edition 5.0 series.

Question: Is GoldMine Corporate Edition post 6.5 my only option to migrate too?


Answer:
Not necessarily. Customers current on maintenance have the option of migrating to the latest release GoldMine Premium Edition or GoldMine Enterprise Edition. The costs will vary depending on the product. Please contact your GoldMine solutions specialist for more information about GoldMine Premium Edition or GoldMine Enterprise Edition features to find out which product is a right fit for your corporation.

Question: Will customers choosing to upgrade to GMPE or GMEE need to pay maintenance?


Answer:
Yes, all customers on GoldMine Premium Edition are required to have first year maintenance at 20% of retail price of $695 with a minimum of 5 licenses of maintenance or a minimum of $695 for the first year maintenance. After the first year, maintenance is highly recommended, but optional. Customers choosing to upgrade to GoldMine Enterprise Edition are required to have maintenance as well. To find out more about GMEE license and support fees please contact your GoldMine solutions specialists.

Answer:

Question: I have GoldMine Standard Edition; will my product still be supported?


Answer:
GoldMine Standard Edition versions 6.7 are supported until April 30th, 2008. Only technical support for versions 5.x, 6.0 & 6.5 will be terminated on October 31st, 2007.
