  Office 97 works, but sophisticated queries can be difficult to manage. We do not provide support for Office 97. Office 2000 has significant improvements for PivotTables, both for users and the back end, and is more stable. XP is better yet.
  
  
• Windows 9X, 2000 or NT 4.0 (SP5 or SP6a) or XP
  Windows 95 is tricky (must be totally updated, with IE5), NT 4.0 must have SP-5 or SP-6a. Save the trouble: use Win98, Win2000 or XP

  For larger data files (more than a few thousand contacts or 20,000 history records), 128MB or more is highly recommended.
  
  
• High-speed Networks
  Network speed can be a bottleneck if large files are queried. See the user manual for hints on query efficiency.
